Tersa

Terms

Effective October 8, 2026

These terms cover tersa.tech and the tools Tersa publishes. Vince ("we"), a private individual in Hungary, runs both for free as a non-commercial project. By using the site or a tool, you agree to these terms.

Licenses

Each tool ships with its own open-source license, and that license sets out how you can use, copy and change it. BraveDebloater uses the MIT License. If these terms and a tool's license disagree, the license wins for that tool.

No warranty

To the extent the law allows, we provide the site and the tools as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Our tools change settings on your computer. Read the preview before you apply anything, and keep the backup the tool writes.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Vince and Tersa's contributors are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or the tools. That includes lost data, lost profits and changes to your browser or system settings.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for damage caused intentionally, for harm to life, body or health, or for anything else the law doesn't let us limit.

Consumer rights

If you use the site or a tool as a consumer, these terms don't take away any right that the mandatory law of your country gives you.

Governing law

Hungarian law governs these terms, and Hungarian courts decide disputes about them, except where mandatory law says otherwise.

Trademarks

Brave Software, Inc. owns the Brave trademark. Tersa and BraveDebloater have no affiliation with Brave Software, and Brave Software doesn't sponsor or endorse them. We use the name Brave only to tell you which browser the tool works with.

Microsoft owns the Windows and PowerShell trademarks, Apple owns macOS, Linus Torvalds owns the Linux trademark and Anthropic owns Claude. GitHub, X and Product Hunt belong to their respective owners.

Copyright

© 2026 Vince. We own the text, design, code and Tersa mark on this site, and we don't license them for reuse. Each tool's license, such as BraveDebloater's MIT License, covers that tool's code only.

The Geist Project Authors publish the Geist and Geist Mono fonts used here under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

Copyright complaints

tersa.tech doesn't host content from users. If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, email iqad@tersa.tech with the work, where it appears here and how to reach you. For our repositories on GitHub, use GitHub's DMCA process.

Accessibility

We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA: text alternatives for images, full keyboard access, visible focus, readable contrast and respect for your reduced-motion setting. If something on the site blocks you, email iqad@tersa.tech with the page and what went wrong.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what we collect and what we do with it.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top, and the site's public commit history keeps every earlier version. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.
